Bes\u00f8k<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bes\u00f8ket i norske folkebibliotek fortsetter \u00e5 stige, og var p\u00e5 26,8 millioner i 2024. Dette utgj\u00f8r en \u00f8kning p\u00e5 2,8 prosent fra \u00e5ret f\u00f8r, og er det h\u00f8yeste bes\u00f8kstallet vi har registrert. Vi m\u00e5 tilbake til topp\u00e5rene i f\u00f8rste halvdel av 2000-tallet for \u00e5 finne h\u00f8yere bes\u00f8kstall per innbygger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arrangement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bes\u00f8k p\u00e5 arrangement knyttet til biblioteket fortsetter \u00e5 \u00f8ke. 1,87 millioner deltakere inneb\u00e6rer en \u00f8kning p\u00e5 13 prosent fra 2023 til 2024. 1 647 000 deltok p\u00e5 arrangementer i regi av biblioteket, mens 231 000 deltok p\u00e5 arrangement i biblioteket i regi av andre. 548 000 av deltagerne p\u00e5 arrangement i regi av biblioteket deltok p\u00e5 arrangement for skoler og barnehager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Utl\u00e5n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bibliotekene l\u00e5nte ut 13,4 millioner fysiske b\u00f8ker i 2024, en \u00f8kning p\u00e5 6,7 prosent fra \u00e5ret f\u00f8r. Barnebokutl\u00e5net st\u00e5r for den st\u00f8rste delen av \u00f8kningen i bokutl\u00e5n, og i 2024 ble det l\u00e5nt ut 8,5 barneb\u00f8ker per barn. Dette inneb\u00e6rer en \u00f8kning p\u00e5 8,9 prosent fra 2023. \u00d8kningen i utl\u00e5n gjelder b\u00e5de fag- og skj\u00f8nnlitteratur, og vi har ikke sett h\u00f8yere tall siden en endring i registreringsm\u00e5te i 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ogs\u00e5 utl\u00e5net av b\u00f8ker for voksne per voksen gikk opp, med 2 prosent fra 2023, og den langvarige nedgangen i utl\u00e5n av b\u00f8ker for voksne ser ut til \u00e5 ha stoppet. Utl\u00e5net av andre fysiske medier enn b\u00f8ker fortsetter \u00e5 synke, og utgj\u00f8r n\u00e5 bare 6 prosent av det totale utl\u00e5net av fysiske medier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Utl\u00e5n av e-b\u00f8ker og e-lydb\u00f8ker<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1,4 millioner. Nedgangen i utl\u00e5net av e-b\u00f8ker og e-lydb\u00f8ker fra 2022 til 2023, fortsetter i 2024. Det ble l\u00e5nt ut 841 000 e-b\u00f8ker og 584 000 e-lydb\u00f8ker i 2024. Dette inneb\u00e6rer en nedgang p\u00e5 henholdsvis 6 og 9 prosent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ressurser<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Det var et tilbud om mer\u00e5pent i 199 kommuner i 2024. Det vil si at de ga mulighet til \u00e5 bruke biblioteket ut over betjent \u00e5pningstid. Dette er 13 flere kommuner enn \u00e5ret f\u00f8r. Til sammen var det 314 hovedbibliotek og filialer som ga mulighet for \u00e5 bruke biblioteket ut over betjent \u00e5pningstid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
